About

I'm Michael Golden, a founder and software developer based in Austin, Texas. I build tools for work I know firsthand, drawing on eight years of automotive collision repair estimating experience and a background in finance.

Background

My experience includes estimating and insurance claims work at Tesla, Service King, Caliber Collision, and GEICO. I returned to estimating with Crash Champions in February 2026 while continuing to develop my applications.

I hold a B.B.A. in Finance from Texas State University. In 2022, I began designing a tool for my work as a collision estimator. That idea became Bluprintr and prompted me to return to school for computer science. I studied at Austin Community College from 2023 through summer 2024.
